Learn to Last wants to make professional education in orthopedic shoemaking accessible to people who have limited opportunities to access or finance this type of education.
Scholarship places are limited and applications are assessed individually.
Who can apply?
You may be eligible for a scholarship if:
Country of residence: You live in a country classified by the World Bank as a low-income or lower-middle-income economy. You can check the current classification here: World Bank Country and Lending Groups
Age: You are preferably between 18 and 50 years old.
Motivation: You can explain why you would like to take the course and how it relates to your professional goals.
Practical application: You have serious plans to put what you learn into practice, either in your current work or as part of your future professional development.
Commitment: You are willing and able to dedicate sufficient time to completing the course.
What if I don’t meet all the criteria?
You may still apply.
We understand that a country’s income classification does not always reflect someone’s personal circumstances. If you do not meet all the criteria above but believe there is a good reason why you should be considered for a scholarship, please explain your circumstances in your application.
These applications will be considered individually by the Learn to Last Scholarship Committee.
Application and intake
Completing an application does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.
A personal online intake is a required part of the scholarship enrollment process. During the intake, we would like to get to know you, learn more about your motivation and discuss how you plan to use what you learn in practice.
After your application and intake have been completed, the Scholarship Committee will review your application. You will then be informed of the final decision.
